At TSUS we have tied up with a leading organisation JAY Robotics to create STEM based robotic education (ROBOX) for the students. This is essential for preparing students in today’s world of non-stop innovation.
The use of robotics in the classroom has proven to be a consistent and surefire way to teach students skills like coding and engineering. STEM lessons are extremely important for students as they develop skills in communicating across different technology platforms and teamwork. These essential 21st century skills will position them for success well beyond their school years.
Learning to program a computer is an excellent skill to develop in students and make them future ready. Teaching young students the abstract subject of programming is complex, however through Robotics it becomes simpler to understand and is a more tangible introduction to programming.Robotics at TSUS is a coding based learning module.
Students have the opportunity to create a mechanical model and make it perform the actions that they program it to do. Robotics at TSUS combines creativity with engineering and technology concepts. When students are given the opportunity to create something interactive that they think is cool, their engagement levels increase, and they retain more information.
